Sr. was well liked at St Mary Magdalen when she taught there.

Sister Maria Garetti is a jewel. She is a model of humility and virtue. A great woman and a holy friend. She was so aware of God´s Love that her heart became an echo of the heart of Jesus. With great love and tenderness of heart Sr. Maria Garetti helped me grow in holiness in the midst of the hardest losses and struggles of my life. I could trust her with God´s interactions in my life through our beloved St. Therese of Lisieux and the Blessed Mother. Few things gave more joy than in small ways showing appreciation for her sacrifices and prayers for my family and her precious adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament of the Alter. When I heard she had died I became so calm and happy because I knew she had entered the Light; she had entered into eternal participation in Divine Life; she became one now wholly unblemished who I could hold in my spiritual heart; one now eternally securely at the heart of Jesus. I have asked her to not stop praying for the salvation of souls who will love God forever. I know she would never have stopped anyway. I love the prayerful Sr. Maria Garetti and await the day in which I can pray with her again in the one place where only God´s will is done. Oh Holy Spirit how I love You for giving life to Sr. Maria Garetti!!
