My deepest sympathy to the Granberry Family. I truly enjoyed knowing Mr. Granberry for the small season that I got to spend with him. He just illuminated positivity, and strength that I will never forget. He just felt so fatherly to me and I am glad I got to share time with him and his wife. They are truly an inspiration to me, and I pray the God Comforts the family. He was truly a jewel and a real good man...

My condolences to the Granberry family. I have known Cecil since I was a little boy of around 9 or 10, during the time Cecil drove the Wonder Bread truck. My father owned a confectionary on Cecil's route and after awhile Cecil was told to stop delivering bread to the confectionary because my father wasn't buying enough product to warrant a stop. Cecil being the good man he was, never stopped and continued to bring product to my father's store because he felt small business owners and residents in the inner city, deserved quality products, just like everyone else. I am now 56 years old and have never forgotten that. Through the years Cecil has been the same man of principle and decency and always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him and he was always glad to see me and my family. I am blessed to have known him and my families prayers go out to the entire family.

Humbly submitted,

Michael Steven Thomas and Family, son of Tom Thomas, owner of Thomas Confectionary.
