Hankemeyer, Charles H., Jr. Fri., Nov. 6, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Mary L. Hankemeyer (nee Layton); loving father of Charles III (Linda), Tim (Jo Ann), Nancy (Paul) Blessing, Cindy (the late John) Frederick and the late William Hankemeyer; our dear grandfather, great-grandfather, step-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend. Charles joined the Navy in W.W.II and remained in Ready Reserve for 34 years. He retired after 25 years of service with Vestal Laboratories. Lifetime member of the American Turner Society. Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. (at Butler Hill) Mon., Nov. 9, 10:45 a.m. to St. Joseph Church (Imperial) for 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment National Cemetery. Visitation Sun. 4-9 p.m.

My heartfelt sympathy to your family. I have know Charlie for about 25 years, but my husband Don Garner has know him Forever. They were good friends and I know they are both in a wonderful place, with relatives and many friends. You are in our families thoughts and prayers. Bless you all, Ann Garner
