My heartfelt condolences to the entire family of Mr
Charles Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins loved his children and grandchildren and extended family members. I had the privilege and honor of knowing Mr. Hawkins through his daughter Angela, with whom I have been friends with for almost 30 years. Mr. Hawkins always had interesting conversations and a joke to put a smile on your face. He was a very kind, and giving soul. His last visit to Texas we had an enjoyable lunch at Cracker Barrel Restaurant. I will forever remember his loving kindness and giving spirit. May the Lord grant each of you peace, comfort, and strength is my prayer.
Love,
Sheila Cleveland

I only briefly met you, when you visited your daughter, Leola at work- but your smile told me everything. I briefly met another of your daughters (Leola's sister) that day and the words "a true family man" hits the mark in that short interaction. To Leola and the family- my deepest sympathies as you grieve, know he lives on in each of you.
