Chester Hart Obituary

Hart, Chester Charles Jr. 88, a native of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in St. Louis, Missouri where he lived for the last 39 years.
He was a graduate of University of Louisville Brandies Law School, member of Delta Upsilon social fraternity and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Served in WWII as a Radar Instructor in the Signal Corp, former Regional Vice President for Commerce Clearing House Midwest Division, sworn in as an attorney and counselor of the Supreme Court of the United States.
While in Louisville Charles was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, the Preston Lodge of the Masonic Order, a member of the Kosair Temple. He was an active member of Bonhomme Presbyterian Church of Chesterfield, MO.
He was the beloved husband of the former Mary Elizabeth (nee Overstreet); Father to Alice (Jon) Mars, Mary Ann (Gary) Beardman, and Charles (Denise) Hart; grandfather to Laura (Steven) Busch, Mary Mars, Stuart (Jennifer) Beardman, William (Katherine) Beardman, Elizabeth A. Beardman, Grayson Charles Hart; and five great grandsons; brother of Mrs. Robert C. Fraim of Knoxville, TN, and Mrs. Edward L. Massie of Lake Forest, IL.Services: His memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, July 24, 2006 at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, KY. with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in St. Louis, MO. Memorial contributions may go to MS Society of St. Louis, 1867 Lackland Hill Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63146 or St. Johns Mercy Foundation, Heart Hospital, 12800 Corporate Hill Drive, St. Louis, MO 63131.
