Sr. Christian was a dear, dear friend throughout high school and it was wonderful to see her at our 50th high school reunion. I'll miss her kindness and compassion for others and most of all, her dear self. Prayers continue for her family. Sue (Middendorf) Rodriguez

I send my prayers to all the Ehrhardt family for your loss; may Carol rest in peace with God. We were friends in high school and often walaked from Notre Dame to her house and my work at Gem City Pizzeria, and though we lost touch after that, I have never forgotten her. She was a wonderful individual.

So glad that I was able to see Sr. Christian at our 50th high school reunion this summer. She will be missed.

Sr. Christian was my aunt, and I have many fond memories of her growing up. She was the first to hand me a C.S. Lewis book, one memorable night we stayed in the convent with her. She really touched me one time by taking a true moment to let me know how much she enjoyed having my dad as a brother in law and how much she admired the family he and my mother had made.
Sr. Christian loved to play cards, most notably in the past few years Nertz, a card game requiring both a nimble mind and nimble fingers. Family get togethers usually involved her trouncing everyone at the table, including all those much younger and nimbler. I admired her sense of humor, her intelligence and her mind open to a world of ideas.

Sr. Christian did touch many lives. I'm so glad we all got to see her at our class reunion in July.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" (Isaiah 61:1, 2) sustain your family during this challenging time. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

To the Family: We don't know what to say except that we love you. We can't understand exactly how you feel, but God does and will keep raising you up. We hope that our prayers will help a little.

Dear Ehrhardt Family,

Please accept our condolences on the passing of your sister Carol. Our loss is Heaven's gain. I am sure she is up there with that ever present smile looking down on us and wishing she could tell us how beautiful it is. Please accept God's comforting Love and Embrace during your time of sorrow, but also celebrate the fact that she is no longer suffering.

Carol and I worked together at Gem City Pizzeria. We became good friends and I must say that she deserves much credit for me meeting my wife. She helped me through a difficult time in my life. She has been a special friend of our family for so many years it is hard to remember. Sue and I loved her and will miss her. She would always contact us when she was in Quincy and we would get together whenever possible. She will be missed by many people.
