Christopher Merlenbach Obituary

Merlenbach, Christopher Carson Christopher passed away May 14, 2016 in Arizona, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 29, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clarence and Gloria Merlenbach (deceased). Chris will be forever lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years Linda and his children Kristen (David) Mandly, Courtney Merlenbach, Ellie Merlenbach and Emmanuel Piedra. He was the Grandfather of Megan and Tyler Mandly, the brother of Cathy (Gordon) Robinson, Terry Merlenbach, Pat (Bill) Cardinal, Marianne (Rudy) Lefholz, Veronica Caraffa, and Mike (Dianne) Merlenbach. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend with a positive spirit and loving smile. Chris was a graduate of McBride High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Services: A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on June 16th at 7pm at The Catholic Student Center Washington University, 6352 E Forsyth Blvd. St. Louis, Missouri with visitation from 5pm. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to World Pediatric Project, 755 S. New Ballas Road, Ste. 140, St. Louis, Missouri 63141.
