I was very sad when I got the news of this young man being taken away at such an early age. I did not get a chance to meet Lil Cordell, but I do know one of the parents. My prayers go out to the family.

Dear Family and Friends,
I was Cordell's 7th grade Social Studies teacher at Kirby. He was a sweet young man who would frequently put a smile on my face. I am truly sorry to hear of his untimely passing. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I was Cordell's teacher in the 7th grade at Kirby. He won a trophy in my class for the Poetry Slam contest. He had a sweet spirit and I am so sorry to hear of his passing...especially in this manner.

A smile that could light an entire room...May Cordell's beautiful smile and the good memories help ease the heartache of this difficult time. Dear Family,
I did not know your wonderful young man but,never the less I did cry tears upon hearing of this great loss. I see the beautiful smile of this loving child today in the obituary. What a handsome young man indeed. I know that he is now guarded for eternity by all of God's lovely angels. Dear child, you and your family are in my prayers and I know that our God is holding you tenderly in His loving arms. May you rest in eternal and everlasting peace.

Cordell (Lil Fella) I am so sorry he had to go so soon. He is now in the arms of his Great Grandmother (Big Momma). I can vision the two of them cracking jokes. This is a great picture showing that winning smile.
