Cyrus Samuel Keller

Keller, Rev. Cyrus Samuel 94, of Florissant, died peacefully January 24, 2014. Preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Hazel, and two children, Edward and Juliebeth, Cyrus was the consummate African Methodist Episcopal priest, pastor, bible scholar, prophet and friend of his beloved family, the church and the broader community. A victorious Memorial Service was held on January 27th at St. Peter A.M.E. Donations to the Keller Family Scholarship should be sent to Marjo Keller, 2952 Carmel St., Apt #1, Oakland, CA 94602. He is survived by his wife Michele Sue, his children Cyrus IV (Diana) and Marjo of Oakland, CA, Michelle Cole (Terry) and Benjamin (Arlene) of Los Angeles, Mari-Michele (Ken) Sisson of St. Louis, Juliebeth's husband Bill (Maryann) of New Haven, and by twelve grand-children and eight great-grandchildren. In 2009 Cyrus donated his body to Washington University and at his passing was assisted by the Austin Layne Mortuary.
