Beloved husband of Yelena Francis (Nee Gladkikh); dear father of David (Graciela) Francis, Norna Francis, Paris Francis, and the late Derek (Carmen) Francis; dear grandfather of David, Tyffany, Carmen, Bryttney, and Kymberly; dear son of Jean Wills and the late Jay Francis; dear son-in-law of Yeugenia and Pavel Gladkikh; dear brother of Debbie (John) Amundsen and Delores (Alan) Willis; dear Godfather of Sonya; special friend of Alex Gorbunov; our dear uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend to all of Russia, Central America, Mexico, and the United States.
Dave had a talk show in Russia and here in St. Louis on WGNU. He was a sports writer, a journalist, and a photographer. He taught English at St. Petersburg University in Russia and he was a avid Cardinal fan.Services: Funeral Services on Sat. September 9th, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of St. John, 8665 St. Charles Rock Road (63114). Visitation Friday Sept. 8, 2006 at SHEPARD Funeral Chapel 9255 Natural Bridge @ I-170 (314-426-6000) from 4-8 p.m. Interment Private.
