Mr. Otterman was a wonderful, witty, happy person, who was not only kind but a very humble man. I had known him for the past 11 years as long as I have been best friends with his daughter Ann. And through out the past 11 years I got to spend several moments with him, his wife Joan and Ann. Thinking back about all those times, it just brings a great big smile to my face. I remember always having a laugh when I was around him. He just had a way with people and I’ll deeply miss that. Even though it hurts now, I know he’s at a better place. Ann, Joan and Dawn, I love you guys, and will continue to remember you in my prayers and thoughts.

Dear Joan & Family, Sincere sympathies to you & your entire family. I had the pleasure of getting to know Dave through our association at Abbott. We first met about 20 years ago. Dave flew in to help me with a critical instrument situation I was managing in Vorhees, NJ. He did an awesome job that first meeting & the countless other times he helped me. I valued the conversations we had about everything and anything. He was a good man. I hope knowing he made a difference & an awareness of your own fond memories will help you through his passing.
