David Perez Obituary

David Joseph Perez, Sr., born November 8, 1951, fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church August 19, 2025.
David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca Ann (Oswald) and his cherished children, Emily Perez-Estepp (Tim Estepp) and Andrew (Sally) Perez. David was a doting "Papi" to his grandchildren Julia Estepp and Michael, Santino, and Maria Perez. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Violet Perez, his son, David Jr., his brother Christopher, and his parents Johnson and Julia.
A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17 Joy Avenue, Webster Groves, Missouri, 63119. A brief visitation will precede the mass from 9:00-10:00 a.m. The interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Case Management Society of America Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports case management research (cmsafoundation.org/inmemory) or Shedrow Farm and Therapy, a 501(c)(3) organization that rescues horses and trains them to provide therapy to adults with PTSD and other mental health issues (shedrowfarm.org).

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Dave, You were one of the best landlords ever. Joey looked so forward to seeing you and it broke his heart when he found out you had passed. Your sunset View family will miss you ! Rest in paradise

Dave was a great guy. I remember Dave blocking all my basketball shots, goofing off in his parent's basement, playing poker with him and helping him replace the transmission in his Austin Healey. Dave would help anybody at anytime. It is truly a terrible loss. Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
