I'm sorry to learn that Dr. Simon passed away. He was my pediatrician from the time I was born until I went to college. He was such a kind hearted doctor. In 2010, I was working at the Cedars at the JCA. He and his wife Barbara came to stay there for the week of the High Holy Days. When I saw his name, I wondered if it was the same Dr. Simon. I visited he and Barbara and couldn't believe that he and Barbara remembered me, my siblings and parents names. I am now 57 and continue to have fond memories. May his memory be a blessing and bring your family comfort.

May the powerful words written in the bible be able to touch your heart during these emotional and painful moments. Matthew 5:4 reads.. "Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted." May the father of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to ease the sorrow of your broken heart during the days ahead of you.

Dr Simon volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Charities for years. He was such an inspiration to our families and volunteers. We apprecated him so much and loved his stories and jokes. I was sorry to miss the service this morning as I was in Nashville. He will be missed.

Dr. Simon was my pediatrician from birth to college. I am now 66. He told my mother that if every patient was as healthy as me he would be out of a job. I rember his words, am healthy still, and often think of him.

Back in the day of house calls, Dr Simon was our doctor as children growing up in University City. He was the standard I've compared all my physicians to ever since - kind, compassionate & just always made you feel better for having seen him. Our most sincere condolences from the Doss Family.
