My Dear, Dear Son (Da Da & Boy),
I miss you so much, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I watched you grow up into a very fine man of whom I am so proud. No mother should ever have to bury their child before they die - it's not suppose to be that way. Your friends all miss you - you left a huge whole in our lives but not as big as the love we all have for you in our hearts. I know from your faith in God and love for your Savior Jesus Christ you are in heaven and it will only be a short time until I see you again. Keep your father in line and you be a good boy too. I love you so much, as much as any mother could love their son. Until we meet in heaven.
Love,
Your Mom

I am proud to say that Dave was my friend and one of the most generous people I ever knew. Dave had a way of making his friends and family feel special and I know that we will all miss him. He always added his own special touch to any situation - whether it be crazy, sweet, clever, or mischievous - and that is what I will miss most. The Dave-isms and Dave stories will live on just as he lives on in the hearts of all of those that knew him. I am better for having known you, Dave, and I am so glad that you were my friend.

Dave,
You were a great friend. You will be missed. Throughout life we are fortunate to have a half dozen people that surround you that one can completely trust. You were certainly one of them to me. Your over the top antics and open honesty were appreciated by many. God Bless.

David - it's hard to believe that I am signing a guest book in your memory. I wish I could've been there that night to tell you how loved you were by so many people, and to think this decision through; but you were true to your character - spontaneous until the end. You will be missed by everyone; family get-togethers will not be the same without you. You always had a smile on your face, always laughing. My boys were very entertained by you! You were like another brother to me, and I will miss you. To David - the man who made the best deviled eggs I ever had, and who taught me how to properly wash my hands! I know will see you again someday; I pray that you are at peace. My family and I will watch over your family for the rest of our days.

Dave, you certainly left an indelible mark on our hearts and lives. I know that we will miss you for the rest of our lives. Thank you for being such a good friend for all of these years. I thank God for all of the memories. We will all be swapping "Dave stories" for years to come. Thank you for being such a character and adding your own touch to every moment we shared. You will forever be in our hearts.

Dave, Dave, Dave... for all the undeniable good and wonderful things you were, and still are, in the Great Beyond, the sum of all your virtues. No doubt you're getting a laugh that you now "know" before all of us. You were a steadfast and loyal friend, our "Tom Sawyer." It's been nearly two decades since you became my Beta Sig "Big Brother" and I will always cherish the treasure trove of Dave-stories, Dave-isms and Dave sound effects. Watch over your friends and family, as we will over one another.

To my "best friend" and "best man" Dave and family,
It's nearly impossible and overwhelming for me to be able recollect a memory even back to early childhood that does not include an element of your "Dave-isms" (as we so often joked about over nearly 4 decades,) your loyalty, wit, humor and sometimes unconvential problem solving ability will be missed incredibly by all whose lives you have influenced, and I can say that I would not have become the person I am now, nor would have the "edge" I have now in life, had we and our families never met, I am proud to have called you best man and look forward to seeing you in the future on the "flip side" of the universe.
your best friend, Chris

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. This sums up best how to honor your loved one. Go forward with life's routine allowing your happiest memories of Dave to be part of your family's future. You and your family are in my prayers.
