Every year at the Enterprise Annual Meetings I was able to renew my friendship with Dennis. He had so much expertise and knowledge to share with me. He was a man of uncompromising integrity. We played many rounds of golf together. He was a patient teacher and exceptional athlete. He will be deeply missed by all. Cini and I extend our sympathy to the entire family. The memorial yesterday was a beautiful celebration of Dennis"s life. He was a great man. I laughed so hard recounting stories with my peers. I feel privileged to have worked for Dennis for 10 years. He taught me how to really live, be ethical, and how to truly take care of my team. Lessons I have used forever. I am very grateful for the time I had with him. I am truly sorry for your loss. I am glad he got to see his children grow up into the strong and wonderful people they have become.
Thank you for sharing Dennis with me. I often thought of him even though we did not speak much. Even now I think "what would Dennis do?"

I was very sad to hear of the passing of my boyhood friend. Dennis and I grew up together and shared many adventures, we even had the same birthday! Upon hear the news, my mind flashed back to all the time we spent together, playing sports, riding our bikes and growing up in the best possible environment a boy could have and I have to smile at how lucky I was to have such a friend. Julie: Early on, we thought of Dennis as Ray's little brother. But we were so pleased to have contact with him in his adult years when we saw him at the St. Louis airport several times while waiting for flights. We were thrilled to know of his business success.

John and I are really heartbroken over your loss. Miles have put us far apart but my childhood memories take me to a great place. Although I did not know Dennis well, I always enjoyed playing golf with him at Cuscowilla. We faced each other many times in tournaments and he was a very good player and a tremedous putter. More importantly, he was fun to be with and always a gentleman.

Deb and I were saddened to learn of Dennis' passing. He was a fun guy, and I always enjoyed working with him at Enterprise. I will particularly and fondly remember how we greeted each other when we met or talked. "Hey, Bubs!" I bet that's how he greeted St. Peter when they met.

It's been well over 20 years since we've been friends with Dennis and Julie and through those years friendship became more like family and as with family you have such great times like celebrating holidays and birthdays,vacations, neighborhood get togethers, golfing, sleepovers, but then you have those difficult times like this when you want to turn back time. Denny could be bigger than life at times, generous beyond comprehension, funny ...very, very funny, loved telling jokes and cooked the best ribs known to man.
