Dot, sharing your fabulous poems with Con Ed group. Still have your memorable poems on "Presidents, " "Mother's Day," and lots more. You made writing poetry seem so 'matter of fact.' Miss you very much and all your attributes such as tidiness and loving your apartment. You're a "crown jewel." Told Con Ed you created "Monday morning Coffee Program" and they were sooo impressed. Thanks for being "one in a million".

Love always,

Marlene

Miss you so much, Dot. You were my hero-creative, a real go-getter. FVC residents still comment about how wonderful the Monday morning coffee is; so I remind them YOU founded/created/started it. Owen's brother Milton and wife Marilyn come to Con Ed; they're great and remember you too.
God Bless you; fortunate we connected for long time.
Love,

To Dot's family: sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his PEACE, HIS STRENGH, AND HIS LOVE in your time of sorrow.
Dot was a real trouper and never complained about anything. She was very easy going, always cheerful, and loved by EVERYONE at FV. But first and foremost, Dot loved her family dearly. She appreciated and was grateful for her children; so proud of her grandchildren; doted on her adorable great grandchildren.
Writing poems was Dot's trademark. She was blessed with enormous talent and made writing poems appear easy. Also, Dot loved to read and share her poetry with others at FVC. In fact, Dot actively volunteered and participated at all FVC events for decades. For example, she founded the very popular Monday Morning Coffee Hour that has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception. Dot has always been a doer and has used her creativity making decorative Arts and Crafts items for the annual FVC Bazarr.
Dot quickly developed a reputation as a do-gooder. She genuinely loved helping others in a very selfless manner. That was her trademark. She'd go out of her way to help others.
Dot, we'll all truly miss your kindness and caring ways and you'll always have a special spot in our hearts. You're irreplaceable, dearly loved, sadly missed, and forever remembered in our hearts.
May you rest in peace.
