Tee was on my board when I was president of Maryville University of St. Louis. We enjoyed a great relationship and friendship. He would send me tickets to the Cardinals baseball games, and for the opening game of the season at the new Busch Stadium, he invited me to be his guest for the private dinner. And then, instead of watching from the private box, we sat behind third base. Wow! That was Tee Baur. A gentleman if ever there was one, a wise mentor, and just about the most elegant and decent man I have ever known. Marsha and I grieve his loss, but will always be inspired y the life he lived.
