A great mentor, my uncle. Living in Princeton, IN, I spent many happy summer visits with Ruth & ED watching the Cardinals (Mize, Musial, Brecheen, Schoendiest, etc., & the Hawks' Pettit. Ed could run faster backward than I could forward, & we played bottlecap baseball with broom sticks. He made me a knife that I carried while in the Marines in WWII. Semper Fi, Ed--CU later.
