Edwin Matzner Obituary
Matzner, Edwin A.
Died on April 9, 2022 at age 93. Born in Vienna, Austria, he immigrated to the US to study, graduating with a double major in biology and chemistry at California Institute of Technology. He later completed his Ph.D. work in chemistry at Yale University. Edwin had a creative take on life. Passionate about photography, he was a 60-year member of the SL Camera Club. Fluent in three languages, Edwin was also a member of the Alliance Francaise and the German Club. Edwin is survived by his daughter Cathy Mason, (her husband Michael), and by Jane Bergman, his lifetime partner.
Services: A celebration of Ed's life will be held at a future date, to be announced.
