Effie Price Obituary
Price, Effie Pauline
93, passed on October 28, 2021. Survived by husband of 74 years Lawrence 'Larry' W. Price Jr., son Lawrence W. Price III (Alex Amante) and daughter Deborah A. Price (Doug Badger).
Effie, one of ten siblings, is survived by, Roy, and was preceded in death by Marvin, Frances, Melvin, Kathleen, Iona, Phyllis, Fayleen and Marvleen.
At 8 years old, Effie's family moved to St. Louis where she lived until she and Larry moved to Arizona in 2009. Effie met Larry on a blind date while working at KMOX radio. She loved her family, and had an 'open door' for family and friends. Effie was a member of DAR Cornelia-Greene Chapter, St. Louis Camera Club, Collinsville Camera Club, St. John's Lutheran Church, and Missouri Botanical Gardens. Effie's life was filled with more joy, adventure, and fun than we can possibly describe.
Services: Services on November 17 at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. Family requests donations to The Missouri Botanical Garden. https://support.missouribotanicalgarden.org/commemorative-tribute-gifts.
