Porges, Elizabeth "Liz"

(nee O'Leary), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 65. Loving wife of John Porges for 41 years; beloved daughter of the late David and Dorothy O'Leary; devoted mother of Becky (Tim) Schwab, Stefanie (the late Ryan) Fitzpatrick, and Christy (Michael ) Fishel; cherished grandmother of Ashley Chamberlin, Daniel & Nathan Schwab, and Annie Fishel; dear sister of Larry (Kathy) O'Leary, Mike (Abby) O'Leary, Tom (Pat) O'Leary, and Robert (Candy) O'Leary; sister-in-law of Venita O'Leary, Kim (Jim) Parker, Tony (Debbie) Porges, Jackie Porges, Ricky Porges, and Sherri (Bill) Pitts; and is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, extended family and friends. Liz is also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis O'Leary.

Liz was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed laughing and making others laugh, playing games, painting figurines, working in her yard and spending time outdoors, but the biggest enjoyment in her life was to support and participate in her children's and grandchildren's activities. Whether it be chaperoning school trips, attending band and choir concerts, cheering loudest at baseball games and sporting events, annual camping trips, she loved every minute of it. Liz enjoyed hosting family and friends at holidays and always opened her home and heart to anyone that came to her home. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
