May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I worked with Eric twenty years ago. He was always thoughtful and insightful in what he had to say to me. Working with him taught me to aim higher in my life. As a result, I have lost over 100 pounds since I worked with Eric and I just celebrated ten years of continuous sobriety from alcohol and I try to live by the principal of stop, plan, think and then act. Thank you for these valuable life lessons. I made it to age 60 and I am still going strong and living my best life.

I still think of you all the time and are often the topic of conversation. I wish we had had so much more time together. I miss you so much. I do have one ask. Please put your hand on the shoulder of your older sons. Your leaving left an enormous whole in their hearts and they desperately need your help. Craig especially is in need of your guidance. Thank you, my Love. I will always Love you.

Eric was my first date in high school and I was so nervous I was afraid to talk to him for days afterwards! Lol! He was so sweet, tho, and never teased me about it. He was a tender hearted guy that I'd always regretted not staying in touch with. Rest well, my friend. Until we meet again! Condolences to the family.

I knew Eric at MacDill AFB. We were good friends. At least I'd like to think we were. He even accomponied me when I went home once for a visit. We took his Monte Carlo. I only wish I'd kept in touch. I'm sorry.

To the Lowing Family,
I had just come home from being overseas for two weeks when I heard of Eric's Passing. I was so shocked and sad to hear the news. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He had a heart of Gold and really cared about everyone. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Like several people, I have gotten to know Eric at work. In those 14 years, he was more than a leader, he became a friend and trusted adviser. His presence and voice made an impact in our daily lives. Eric's absence is greatly felt and he will be missed. Condolences to the family and friends.

I remember Eric coming to stay at our house sometimes during the summer in Michigan when he was a boy. He was close to the same age as my brothers. Our Uncle Doug Miller was married to his mother and he was one of our cousins. We had fun playing games and baseball with him! We will miss him.

Eric was a mentor and most importantly I considered him a friend. He cared deeply for his family, his colleagues, and his fellow veterans. His humor was unmatched which could be seen from time to time on meetings when he would dawn his "Horse Head Halloween Mask" letting us all know it was time to move on to the next topic. Eric loved playing cards and his stash of poker chips on his desk would remind you of that. We often spoke about our time in the service exchanging stories from long ago. Eric was always good for some Dunkn' Donuts Coffee and would bring in donuts frequently for the command center he worked out of. He will be truly missed. Fair winds and following seas my friend. Until we meet again.

Eric you were an exemplary human being-showing kindness and benevolence wherever you went- the epitome of what we all should strive to be like in our personal and professional lives. You lead by example as a man, father, brother, partner/spouse, boss/ worker, and most people will never come to be even 1% the man you were. I am so proud of all your lifetime accomplishments to include your military service in helping defend this country and I will never cease to brag about you. I remember when you returned from your tour in England and you showed me your coins and talked about your experiences. I remember how you always put others first before yourself whether that was a good thing or not again you demonstrated what Heavenly Father wants us all to do. Your passing has left an extreme void and hole in my heart in a certain spot that can never be refilled there. I will miss you SO much and will strive to be a great woman as you were a great man. Eric im so glad I got to see you two months ago when you came to see mom which you thought was your last time seeing her before she may become too Ill. I never could have imagined it would be the other way around. I would have hugged you longer and prayed harder. I will always strive to lead by your example. I love you my sweet brother.

Eric, you truly were an absolutely beautiful person. You lived a life where you were extremely benevolent and kind to everyone and lead by example in all your life where most other people have not even come close to the amazing, well-rounded, talented, intelligent, kind-hearted, dedicated individual you were. I am so proud of you and all your awesome accomplishments in life from being a wonderful father, brother, husband/ partner, employee/ boss, veteran serving our country and because of the type of human being you were, i am greatful I am your sister and am greatful you were my big brother. I remember the foreign coins you had brought back from the military and some of your stories you told the family. You having served has given me such a great respect for military and veterans that protect this beautiful country and make me so proud.
Eric when you came to visit mom a couple months back because you wanted to see her because of her debilitating situation and is out of state I had no idea it would be the last time I would see you again on this earth. I would have held you tight and said a beautiful prayer! Eric your passing has left a huge hole in my heart oh hwve no idea how vast it is! I will forever brag about you any chance I get and always remember how much I terribly miss my beautiful older brother. I love you Eric.

Eric's presence was always very well felt inside and all-around our workspace. I'd enjoy talks with him on movies, new and old, including hearing suggestions and his take on ones that I may or may not have seen before; very great pleasure having known him for the last two years. In loving memory of a wonderful guy, memories will be kept and life will be celebrated!

Eric was my manager at Express Scripts for the last two years. I truly believe that Eric was the kind of person that if you knew him you loved him. That can't be said about many people. I know that all of my co-workers feel the same way. The shock is still wearing off and we are all deeply saddened by this great loss. We will miss Eric very much and we thank God that we had the pleasure of knowing him. Deepest condolences to all his family members. Rest in Peace my good friend!!!
