Eric was a student in my figure illustration class at Meramec Community college. He rode with me to a drawing class at my church twice a month,this year. He was a talented artist.My wife Carolyn and I enjoyed being friends with the Scherrer family,and will miss Steve,Janet and Eric.

A gentle, quiet, creative force left us all too soon. I was proud to be your Uncle and will miss the many trips to the ocean and cabin. If you can do it Eric, please rain down love and peace to your sister Amy and all your extended family and friends.

Amy, I am so sorry for your loss. I so loved watching you and Eric grow up through all of Aunt Nancy's photos. You are in my thoughts and am only a phone call away if you or your family need anything.
