Dear husband of the late Dorothy Lancaster (nee Brazell); beloved father of Chris (Charlie) Shockley, Laurie Fortenbury, Tim (Pam) Lancaster, and Judi (Mark) Devore; dearest grandpa of 9 and great-grandpa of 5; great neighbor and friend to many. Gene was a WWII veteran, retired from SWB, and a generous volunteer in the community. Services: Funeral Tues., July 9, 10:30 a.m. from COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann) to Holy Trinity Parish, 3500 St. Luke Ln. (St. Ann) for 11 a.m. Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
