Eugene Utrup Obituary
Utrup, Reverend Eugene
Reverend Eugene Utrup passed away peacefully to his eternal reward after 65 years as a priest in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edward and Helen (Ringkamp); his brother, Thomas; and extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 9, in the Chapel at the Rigali Center, 20 Archbishop May Drive, St. Louis, MO 63119 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Utrup donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. Memorials to: Friends of Honduras, 607 Dougherty Terrace Drive, Ballwin, MO 63021 or Fr. Bob's Outreach, 1371 Hamilton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63112.

I graduated from Holy Trinity school in North St. Louis in 1965. Father Utrup was asst. Pastor and came into the classrooms to teach about the Catholic faith. Father Utrup was handsome, kind and a respected priest who made the religion classes interesting. May he rest in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I attended St. Clement School where Fr. Utrup taught me religion. Everyone love Fr. Utrup was so kind and we look forward d to our religion class.
