I did not know Floyd Garrett had gone to his eternal home.
It was my honor to work with him at Sherwood Baptist Church when I was served as interim pastor.
His music style was always refreshing and the choir loved his leadership.

Judy and Family,
My heart is filled with sadness as I just learned of Floyd's death. I'm glad to have known him and all of his family. He had a profound impact on my life musically and spiritualy. He always had words of encouragement for my life, especially as a young person.
Judy, I pray you and all of your family God's great peace.Thank you all for blessing my life. We will see each other again in that great heavenly choir.
God bless you and grant you His peace in this time of loss. Judy, you and Floyd both were lives that were well lived and a blessing to so many others.
Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Floyd was a wonderful neighbor. He loved to tend to his roses, his trees, making his yard a treasure for all to enjoy. He often visited with neighbors, watching and talking to our kids, and always sharing his wisdom and the treasures from his life. We will miss you however we know that you have joined a bigger neighborhood one that you will enlighten just as you did ours. -Rena Rockwell

I have had the pleasure of knowing Floyd, Judy, the McCurdy's, and meeting other family members throughout the past few years. I did not know Floyd as a "well" man, however his spirit and kindness shined through. Every so often in my life I have had the blessing to know and love amazing people. Floyd has absolutely been one of those amazing people to have met. I loved seeing him light up as Judy greeted him nearly every day. I know his favorite piece of a pan of food like cake was the corner peice. Also, he was very good with grammar and was not afraid to correct me every so often. (As I type this I'm sure of grammatical errors, lol). He had great hair that was parted to the right. And I also know he was a spectacular man. I know this because of the picture the family as a whole had painted. I also enjoyed meeting the faithful friends of him and Judy's along the way. I thank the family for opening their hearts to me and sharing Floyd with me and others at Pacific Care Center. Floyd has made a huge imprint upon my heart and I will always remember his love, smile, and the twinkle in his eye.
Love to the family,

We have great memories of times with Floyd & Judy at Pref Risk conventions &
staying overnight at their house. Floyd even allowed me to drive his Porsche one time when we were at a "Fall Harvest" week-end in KY.
Judy, may the God of all comfort minister to you & your family according to the needs you have at this time! Darryl & Judy Sheggrid

Floyd Garrett had a huge impact on my life. He encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone by encouraging me to develop my musical interests. He was larger than life and he will be missed.

I'm a little jealous of my Uncle Floyd at this moment. He is now without pain and is in the loving arms of his Savior. Plus he's now with my dearly loved Dad! I'm sure they're sharing many happy memories together. How I would love to be with them both!! God bless each and every one of you that shared so much with such a wonderful Christian man.

SO MANY MEMORIES of my brother....our singing together in the Garrett Quartet at Collins Chapel in Poplar Bluff MANY years ago. How I DO CHERISH the few times we were able to get together after we both married and I moved whenever the Lord took me and my honey to various states....established three churches during OUR married life. Floyd had come a couple of times to direct our music during a revivals....one being in Pennsylvania. God has blessed him greatly by taking him HOME...and he and my honey are rejoicing together around the throne by now. Thanks Judy for supplying the photo of me and Floyd....mine has sat atop my chest of drawers for years now...and will continue there until the Lord calls ME home. WHAT PRECIOUS MEMORIES!!

Psalms 116:15 says that the passing of HIS saints are precious in the sight of our Lord and I know that there is rejoicing in Heaven today as Floyd enters into his reward. Our family always considered it an honor and privilege to share the times and years that we had with Floyd and Judy. Life never gives enough time, but for Floyd time is no more. We will continue to ask to the Lord to give the Strength, Peace, and Comfort that He alone can supply during these times.
Judy and Family, thank you so much for sharing Floyd with us as a friend, a mentor, an example of what a man and an agent in the company should be. He has been and will continue to be admired and remembered.
Thanks for the memories
