Professor Frank Williamson was my instructor for the basic course in inorganic
chemistry at Dartmouth. His class was packed with students because he was the best and
most popular instructor in this subject. Pre-med students flocked to his course along with
others like me due to his deserved reputation as a truly dedicated and outstanding
teacher. His lectures were superbly organized and deliveredI am glad to learn that he lived
a long life. I am now in my eighties and learned just now that he passed away just a couple of
months ago at age 98 !

Frank was a good neighbor for many years. His quiet and steady demeanor was appreciated at church and as a neighbor. He gave me several of his beautiful peonies which I still have. Also his ancient metal wheelbarrow which reminds me of him every time I use it. Frank was kind and decent He deserves to be among those of whom we say "a life well lived" Wim Leenman
