Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Beloved father of Michelle Patterson and Christine Kauffmann; cherished grandfather of Alec, Taylor, Nicholas (Rachel), Farrah, Ted, Cole, and Vivianna; loving boyfriend of Mary Brumfield; dear brother of Joseph Kauffmann, Diane Ford, and the late Elmer L. Kauffmann; dear uncle, great-uncle, nephew, godfather, cousin, father figure to Jackie Brumfield, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer H. and Antonina "Lee" Kauffmann.
Gary was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for over 50 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and playing cards with his friends. Gary will be deeply missed but will live forever in our hearts as he has left us with countless fond memories.
Services: Funeral procession Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 9:15 a.m., from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4556 Telegraph Rd. for 10 a.m. Mass. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, December 18th from 4:00–8:00 p.m., https://www.ziegenheinfuneralhome.com/.
