I met Gene through his volunteer work with the police department. As his supervisor I only had wonderful dealings with him. But no one could ever look at Gene as a co-worker, he was always mostly just a friend. At friendship and heartfelt service to his community, Gene will never be matched. My thoughts go to Gene and all of his loved ones. We lost one of the Good Guys.

Gene and I became friends at Stryker in 1978 and continued on at Synthes USA through the 1980's. Although his business accomplishments were many I will remember Gene for his loyalty, friendship, and keen sense of humor. His passing is our loss but God's gain.

Gene and I also went way back to the late 70's when he was my district manager at Stryker for 3 years. I have many fond memories of him during my early sales days. He was a good man and I know that he loved his family dearly. I am so sorry for your loss.

Gene and I went way back to the late 1970's when he and I were together at Stryker Corp. Later we found ourselves together again at Synthes (USA) where he immediately picked up where he left off with his impression of "Colonel Klink". Most memorable were the times together with Jack & Kevin on our golf trips which he dearly loved. He was my good and loyal friend in good times & bad. I will miss him!

Many memories from Syndent, etc but really enjoyed our sojourns to Scottsdale for golf. Tremendous individual who will be missed. Hoping he gets a tee time on high.
