Very sad, George was always a man with a smile and a friendly way about him, just a pleasure to be around. He was also a GREAT DETECTIVE and FRIEND, hard worker and could always be counted to get the job done! My condolences to Pete and the rest of the family!!

I was saddened & shocked about George´s passing. I would see George every year at the St. Louis area Police Collector´s shows and considered him a long time friend. We would trade and talk badges. I even had him autograph his photo in the St. Louis County Police History Book. He got a kick out of that and said no one has ever asked him for his autograph before, lol..........
