92, passed away January 29, 2024. George is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joan (Scheffler); daughter Sandra Newman (John), granddaughter Elizabeth Thurau (David), and great-grandchildren: Madeline, Samantha, and Nathan.
Services: Visitation Feb. 5, 4-8 p.m. at Kutis South County. Funeral Feb. 6, 10 a.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Rd.
