Geraldine Trulaske Obituary

Trulaske, Geraldine Gerry entered into rest on Monday, April 12, 2010. Devoted wife of the late Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. Beloved mother of the late Robert J. (Sarah) Trulaske, Jr. and Steven L. (Michelle) Trulaske, Sr. Cherished grandmother of John Bechtold, Meghan (Justin) Trulaske-Miers, Jeanne Trulaske, Chris Trulaske, Si Kincaid, Steven Trulaske, Jr. and Kay Trulaske. Our dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many. In 1921, Gerry was born near Jacksonville, Illinois, to Lee and Lucy Mellor. In April of 1941 she met her husband of 54 years, Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. who was on assignment in Jacksonville with Proctor & Gamble. In 1942, Bob enlisted in the army and went to Europe. Gerry waited for more than 3 years before they were married in August of 1945. She helped her husband start his company True Manufacturing with his father and brother that same year. She created the company's name. Gerry has been involved in many of St. Louis charities over the years and has been a strong supporter and contributor to John Burroughs School. In 2007, she provided a gift that allowed for the naming of the University of Missouri Business School after her late husband Robert J.Trulaske, Sr. Services: A memorial service will be held Mon., Apr. 19 at 10 a.m. at Ladue Chapel (9450 Clayton Rd. St. Louis, MO 63124). In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations to a charity of one's choice. Services provided by FOREVER BELLERIVE Funeral Chapel.
