Great Guy & So Sorry-May God Bless-RIP.

Grant and I spent our formative years together. The brother I didn't live with. Too many misspent youth stories to recount. Friends, enemies, paperboys, injuries, urban slingshot hunters, go team AMC, real hunters, etc.,etc. The take away at this point is reconnect. It's just a couple of keystrokes away. Then dial. Another conversation I'll never have. Different paths didn't diminish our journey when side by side. ...Brad

Grant was my 1st Captain in the City. Too many great memories to mention, but there is one my wife and I will never forget. On Christmas Eve, 2005 I had just graduated from the academy a month prior and had only been married for 2 months. I was brushing my teeth getting ready for bed. Grant came in the locker room and said, "Go home to your wife, kid." After my repeated objections it was clear he would not take no for an answer. My wife and I will be forever grateful for spending that first Christmas Eve and Christmas together. We didn't realize just how special it was at the time, however, with each passing Christmas and 3 little ones, it's a memory that becomes more special every year. Grant was the absolute best.
