It is difficult to express with words how profoundly sad I felt to hear of Hal's passing. Fortunately, I was able to speak with him the day before and felt like he was at peace. Although our friendship had drifted apart over the years, the very fond memories of Hal will always remain close to my heart. I always thought of Hal as being a decent, well mannered, fair and honest person. I think of him often and will miss him for a long time to come. Rest in peace my brother.

I am very sorry to learn about the passing of my 1/2 brother Hal K. Harris. I was born in November 1945 and I was Kenneth H. Harris' first born child. Although I met Mark once sometime between about 1993 - 1995, I never had the pleasure of meeting Hal. I wish that I had the opportunity to have gotten to know my father, Mark and Hal a lot better My condolences go out to Shirley, Mark and the Harris family.

I first met Hal in college and remained a friend ever since. He will be missed, especially his sense of humor and laugh.
