McKay, Harry E. Sr. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Mon., Feb. 20, 2006.
Beloved husband of the late Vera C. McKay (nee Van Hoogstraat); dear father of Gerard (Susan), Harry E. Jr. (Helen), Dennis Sr. (Carol) Mc Kay, Patricia (Don) Jaster, Robert (Jeanne), Raymond Sr. (Vicky), Mark Sr. (Vikki) McKay and Vera (Brian) Black; dear brother of Mary (the late Kenneth) Stevens; dear grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.Services: Funeral from FEY Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Rd. (south of Lindbergh) Thurs., Feb. 23, 9:30 a.m. then to Seven Holy Founders Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mr. McKay was a retired member of the Teamster's Union and vice-president owner/operator of Hodge's Chili Company. Memorials may be given to St. Vincent DePaul Society. IN PARLORS AFTER 3 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY.

You know how much I loved you, I always thought you were the greatest person on earth. I never understood why God would take the mind of such a beautiful person. Although I will miss you with all my heart, I am so happy He has finally taken you to a better place, and you and Mom can finally be together. Save a dance for me!!! All my love, forever. . .

I am a Great Granddaughter of Frank Hays Sr.

I do remember as a child seeing Harry around the family.

We lived in the Patch near Gr. Grandma Emma.
