James Piasecki Obituary

Piasecki, James M.

August 6, 1954 - May 15, 2025

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday May 15, 2025.

Adored husband of the late Linda (nee Wiese) Piasecki; loving father of Lisa (Grant) Villhard, Michael (Staci) Piasecki, Leslie (Joe) Thompson and Tim (Mary Kate) Piasecki; devoted Dzia Dzia/Grandpa Jim of Allie Villhard, Freddy, Alex and Violet Piasecki, A.J. and Marybeth Thompson and Anya and Addy Piasecki; dear son of the late Irene and Michael Piasecki; and loving but always-playfully-ribbing little brother of Pat (Ron) Youngclaus; dear son-in-law of the late Fred Wiese and the late Judy and Don Kaeser and like-a-brother brother-in-law to Terry (Terri) Wiese and David (Mary Ann) Wiese; our much beloved uncle, cousin, Godfather and friend.

Jim was an avid sports and music fan who was an encyclopedia of knowledge on both subjects, but his favorite games, meets, concerts and shows to attend featured his grandchildren. Jim was a longtime Muny Partner and supporter of Forest Park Forever. He retired from Hogan Transportation after 43 years of service and his co-workers were an extended family.
