Although I haven’t worked closely with Jim for awhile, I will miss him. He usually talked over my head about computers but we still managed to have some lively conversations over the years. I really enjoyed working with him. He was a great person. Please accept my deepest sympathy. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Jim was by far one of the most intelligent individuals that I have ever met. He stood for something and for that I will always be grateful that I had the pleasure of not only working with him, but being a friend as well.

My deepest sympathies to Jim's Family! I will miss him so much. He always had a kind word to say and I loved when he played his music loud enough for me to hear at the other end of the hallway!!!
He loved his cowboy hat too and had everyone put it on and took pictures! I believe he still has the pictures in his office!

Once, while sitting at my desk and complaining my machete not large or sharp enough to chop through the minutia; Jim having overheard me, left a sharpening stone on my desk the next day. Jim and I became friends from that point forward. Jim Tomlinson, a man whose talents and intellect so advanced they were not fully appreciated by any of us.

I will miss Jim dearly. Am so glad that he had been back in contact with me these past several months. This meant alot to his oldest daughter Letetia. Memories from 1975-1977 will be chreished by me that many others will not know.
