Loddeke, Jeremy "J"
Jeremy age 42, passed away January 21, 2024. He leaves behind his beloved parents Ken & Mary Ann, loving sister Gina Heck (Andy), his wonderful aunts, uncle, cousins and many loyal friends. He is a graduate of SLU. Jeremy's greatest joy was being with family and fishing at Table Rock with his Dad and with his friends Joe, Tom and Ryan. He loved soccer and Star Wars since he was a child (thanks to Uncle Joe). He was looking forward to being an Uncle for the first time. He was a beautiful young man who was quirky, quiet, and had the quickest sense of humor that made him loved by everyone. We will miss your smile and your laughter. We love you and will forever have you in our hearts.
Services: Friday, January 26, St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Ave. Visitation 8:30-10 a.m. immediately followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m.

I was searching for Jeremy as I have a picture he gave me of himself as a kid and wanted to return that picture to him after about 20 years of me having it. I couldn't find him on Facebook as I normally could so I turned to the internet was stunned to find this. We kept in touch intermittently over the years and this hit me hard. He was so gentle.

My wife Jenny and I are Jeremy's neighbors and we really enjoyed getting to know him over the years. We had many conversations over the fence or sitting on our patio, talking about gardening, his fishing trips, work, or just saying hello. Jeremy was a good neighbor, always willing to help us out when we were out of town, and I'm glad we got the opportunity to get to know him. He was a special person and will be missed by us and the other folks on our street.
