Jo Hanneke Obituary

Jo Ann Hanneke (nee: Kutter), 84, of St. Charles, MO, died on September 12, 2025.

Jo Ann was married to John Charles Hanneke on September 10, 1960, they were married for 59 years..

Jo Ann was a proud mother to four children and found immense joy in spending time with her growing family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jo Ann loved attending their events, always offering her support and encouragement. An avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, she enjoyed watching and cheering on her team.

Jo Ann is survived by her four children, John (Laurie) Hanneke Jr., Deborah (John) Finley, Keith (Beverly) Hanneke, Mark (Mariah) Hanneke; her grandchildren, Melissa (Ben) Gibbs, Matthew (Leah) Finley, Shayla Hanneke (Ethan Clark), Tyler Hanneke, Drew (Amy) Hanneke, Collin Hanneke, Brandt Hanneke, and Reid Hanneke; her great-grandchildren, Graham, J.R., Sullivan, Harrison, Emma, Jack, and Henry; dear sister of Virginia Balsano, Linda Vonderbruegge, and Raymond (Jackie) Kutter Jr.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Hanneke Sr., parents Raymond and Celeste Kutter Sr., and great-grandchild Ace Finley.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Saturday, September 27, 2025. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the foyer.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
