passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Joni was born in Streator, IL to Moreen and William E. "Bill" McBride. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ernest "Drew" Karandjeff; her son Andrew (Angela); her daughter Kelley (Phillip Kilbridge); her grandchildren Hadley, Peyton, Elias, Xander; her brothers William "Bill" McBride (Jan), John "Jack" McBride, and is preceded in death by her sister Ann McBride Berry. So very sorry to read this news. I worked with Joni at the Junior League and the Greater St. Louis Book Fair. She was a dedicated volunteer and a mentor to me. Condolences to her family.
