JoAnn Bujewski

1939 - 2025

JoAnn Sylvia Bujewski (née Lamping), 86, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. She was born in St. Louis to the late Joe and Sylvia Lamping and sister to the late Judy Winkelmann. She was the wife of the late Jude Bujewski and loving mother of Matt Bujewski and Ted Bujewski.

JoAnn was known for her warm and friendly nature. She loved connecting with people and could strike up a conversation wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by her large number of family and friends who loved her dearly.

JoAnn worked for many years in accounting at United Missouri Bank. Outside of work, she had a passion for genealogy and took great joy in researching her family's roots and preserving the stories of past generations.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption–Mattese Catholic Church, with a luncheon to follow in the church basement. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed at www.assumptionlive.com.

In keeping with her generous spirit, JoAnn donated her body to medical science, and there will be no burial. A memorial marker will be placed in Assumption Parish Cemetery next to Jude Bujewski to honor her memory.
