Rev. John H. Fajen

Fajen, Rev. John H. has gone home to our Lord on Monday, August 31, 2009 at age 80. He is beloved husband for 54 years of Peggy Fajen; devoted and loving father of Kathy (Jerry) Morris, Libby Brown, Melanie (Chris) Linger, Barbara Olson and Polly Fajen; dear grandfather of Jessica Brown, Andrea Powell, Jennifer, Michael and Heather Linger and Jacob Olson; dear great-grandfather of Ethan Powell; dear brother of Otto (Ann) Fajen. John served in Nigeria as missionary and linguist, for 20 years, translating the New Testament into Kukele. After returning to the states, he recruited new missionaries for LCMS World Missions. Finally, John was privileged to serve as pastor in Trinity Lutheran Church in Glidden, WI. Services: Visitation Thursday 4 -8pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN and SONS, 7027 Gravois. Visitation Friday at Salem Lutheran Church, 8343 Gravois (63123), from 9am to the time of funeral service at 9:30am. Interment Friday 3pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Stover, MO.
