Pamela Ford Obituary

Dr. Koehl Ford, Pamela

December 21, 1944 - August 6, 2025

Dr. Pamela "Pam" Koehl Ford, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 6, 2025, at the age of 80. Pam's life was a testament to the power of lifelong learning and dedication to education. She earned degrees from Lindenwood University, a doctorate from SLU, and led a distinguished career that spanned several area schools before joining the Brentwood School District, where she spent over 25 years and retired as Assistant Superintendent. She also inspired future generations of teachers at Fontbonne University.

Throughout her life, Pam demonstrated incredible strength, especially in her courageous fight against cancer. Pam was a proud leader of Character Education and generously gave her time volunteering in her community, inspiring all who knew her.

Above all, Pam was deeply devoted to her family, always present to support them in their many endeavors and celebrations. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Lou Koehl, and husband, Greg Ford. She is survived by her children, Bill (Lisa Lauria) Carter, Beth (Matt) Pruett; stepsons, Paul and Chris Ford; and grandchildren Cyrus, Brayden, Sky, and Brooklyn.
