John was a lifelong Saint Louis native and a 'jack of all trades'. He was a devout Catholic and very proud of his Irish heritage. John retired from Laclede Gas. He was a great mechanic, carpenter, electrician and spent many hours 'tinkering' in his garage. John's greatest joy in life was his family. He was known for his quick wit, great jokes, western movies and favorite T.V. shows along with movie nights with family. John cherished his family, friends and was very active at St Louis Activity Center. He set an example to all he knew. With a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face he would request that all who attend wear a mask for the safety of others during this difficult time.
