Colleen, Catherine and John,
I had the pleasure of babysitting you as infants and toddlers many years ago. Your father was such a wonderful person. Although I was a teenager at the time, I remember thinking what an awesome dad he was during such a difficult time in your lives. He washed bottles, changed diapers, kissed "boo-boo's" and was extremely thankful when I cleaned up the dishes and you were all sleeping when he came home. I never forgot him because of his kind, loving personality, and respect and appreciation for everyone in our neighborhood. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May it warm your hearts to know what a positive impact he made on this world, as well as the lives of others.

I was so sorry to hear about Jay's passing. He was such a wonderful person and I was glad to know him all those years. When I last spoke with him around Easter this year, I didn't realize he was that ill. My sympathies are with all of you. I know that God's love will sustain you and that Jay is in His eternal care. Jay was one of the best friends of my entire life. I'm certain that he was a wonderful father and grandfather. I am so sad to learn of his passing but I will always remember him with great fondness.

So Sorry to hear of Jay's passing. Jay, Joe Mulherin, who passed away last year, and I, had many fun and fond memories of our High School Years together. Jay was a kind, generous, and very loving man. He was also one heck of an athlete. My wife Jeanette, and I will have Jay and all his Family in our Prayers.
