Jose E. Granja

Jose Granja Obituary

Granja, José E. Passed away Mon. Dec. 14, 2009 at the age of 83. He was a native of Quito, Ecuador, arriving in St. Louis in 1967. Beloved husband of Raine Carlson Granja. He was predeceased by his first wife Emma Granja. Loving and devoted father of Catalina and Santiago Granja; dear father-in-law of Ed Smith; dear grandfather of Stanley and Alexandra, Emily and Natalie Granja of Miami, FL. José was also a fond step-father of Gregg and Patti Carlson, David Carlson, Brian and Diane Carlson, Cathy Johnson, Karen and Dan DeWalk, Laurie and Ben Accardi, and step-grandfather of 14. He was a long time employee of Centerre and Boatmen's Banks, retiring in 1992. Services: There will be a celebration of José's life on Sat. Dec. 19 at the house of Gregg Carlson, 331 Orchard Ave., Webster Groves at 4:00 p.m. Open House 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
