Doctor Joseph Hill will always be remembered and dear to my family and I. He always knew exactly what to say to make me stop worrying so much, and truly cared for his patients. When I was pregnant with my youngest son he would call my husband and make sure I was following his orders and of course to check on me. Doctor Hill delivered my youngest son, he was on vacation when my oldest son was born Doctor Fleer delivered him. Doctor Hill will never be forgotten!

My Baby Boy who Dr. Hill delivered into this world is now a grown man of 27 years old with a Beautiful Family which includes 2 Handsome son's of his own... I just heard that Dr Hill had passed I was a patient of his when I moved to St. Peters fom El Paso, Tx. He was the most kindest and gentle man whom I felt comfortable with for my OBGYN appointments. I was sad when he retired but now hearing that he has passed makes me even sadder. My condolences to his wife and family my prayers are with you I hope you have found comfort knowing that he's an angel in heaven watching over you.God Bless you

You delivered my son back in 2005, my ex husband wanted my tubes tied, now I'm remarried and looked you up too see about a reversal and saw you passed.. omg, you we're an amazing doctor, made me laugh at every visit.. so sad to hear your gone. Wow I'm so sad to hear about Dr Joe. I just was looking for his website and ran into this news...I was a patient for at least 23 or 24 years and was so upset when he retired...He was the best Dr I've ever Had he was kind, compassionate and so very caring. My husband passed away in may 2007 and when I went in for my follow up 2 weeks later after my hysterectomy that I had in April. He brought me in his office and we cried together...No one will ever fill his shoes I will always remember his kindness and compassion. Please know that his family is in my prayers and thoughts .

I was a rep for a dozen years and became good friends with Dr. Hill. What a kind hearted man he was. I'll think back fondly on all of the meals we shared together where he was willing to share his real life and was always willing to listen to me share mine as well.

I am speechless. Just reading his passing makes me cry again. I cried at my last office visit day before closing. He was the most wonderful person ever. He delivered all 3 of my children. I was with him over 20 yrs. I'm very sorry for the families loss.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Dr. Hill's passing. He was an awesome physician who would go the extra mile for his patients. His passing is a terrible loss not only for family and friends, but to the medical community.

Omg sh..I was just looking up Dr. Joe's website for hormone therapy and saw that he had passed. I am so sad for him and his family. Dr. Hill was my doctor for 20 years. He is the reason I primarily see D.O 's now instead of just M.D.'s (but no one still lives up to his compassion and competence). I was sad when he closed his office practice but not as sad as I am now. My condolences to his entire family and friends. What a wonderful person! I can't even imagine your loss. So sorry.

I have waited 2 months and three days to figure out what words could possibly describe what a incredible man my husband was. He truly was my angel in so many ways, as i told him everyday that i was the luckiest women in the world to have him and was proud to call him my husband. He was my best friend , soulmate and husband. I really have a hard time with why you were taken from me so quickly but God had bigger plans for you. I miss everything about you but i ache for your touch. We will be back together someday my love but until then i know you will protect me and watch over me. I love you baby may you rest in peace!!!

To family and friends of Joe Hill I send my deepest thoughts and condolences. Joe was a very dear friend in high school, and once he left VT for Ohio, I saw him but once. The path he chose is/was truly remarkable, but after reading the many memories I have a better idea of the person Joe had become. What a sad ending to a marvelous life.
My memories of Joe were his musical talents in band. He was a great drummer in our high school band, and he and a few friends had a rock band playing at a few gigs in town. The last time I heard him play was at our farm at his going away party. That was in 1978, I think. So long ago.

Dr. Hill delivered my youngest son 13 years ago, only because of insurance changes I had to find another doctor. This made me very sad he was an amazing doctor and had a great staff.

Dr.Hill was an awesome doctor and truly a very loving person. He was my doctor for 20 years and unfortunately I had to leave because of insurance issues or I still would be his patient today! He was always quick with a laugh and a joke. He was so proud of his children and talked of them often. He will be missed but not forgotten! RIP Doctor Hill

I was so shocked and sorry to hear of Dr. Hill's passing. He delivered my oldest two and I was saddened to find out he retired and couldn't deliver my third. He stayed at that hospital for hours and hours waiting for the kiddos to be ready to be born. With the second, he had a flight to catch the next morning, but he stayed there until 2am and delivered our son. Personal care like no other. Prayers to your family and RIP Dr. Hill.

I am so sad to hear the tragic news of Dr. Hill's passing. He was my doctor for over 10 years and my mom's for over 20. He was a great man who always had a good personality and when my mom had a breast cancer scare he was there to help her through it. She even saw him last Friday at the post office and he was telling her how great it was to be retired from the practice and have more time with his family. Dr Hill was my doctor for 20 years. He was extraordinary in his field. He held my hand through many a procedure & wiped my tears each time I lost another baby. Dr. Hill is one of those people who come into your life and permanently leaves a mark. As his medical assistant, he encouraged me to push forward both professionally and in my personal life to better myself. What devastating news....Joe is gone from us!? He was definitely one of a kind and there will never be another like him. What a wonderful day we were introduced and how he changed both mine and my daughters' health. What a quick and inquisitive mind! "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13 ESV). Joe is with Jesus. The are no words to describe the feelings our family felt when we heard the news. our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Dr. Hill delivered both of my children but he was so much more then my dr. he was a friend. I could talk to him about anything. Over 20 years of conversations. Dr Hill.....not enough can be said about such a wonderful man, father, friend and doctor. There was a very low point in my life, when Joe took longer than he had to for one of my office check ups. He could tell I needed a friend and an ear, and he spent time helping me. At a later time in my life, he helped me through a medical crisis that saved me from surgery. His whistle and easy going manner was so infectous!! He took such great care of my daughters and the deliveries of 2 of my grandchildren. Then recently we re-connected at the hospital where my first grandson was going to be delivered....The hug and genuine smile and recollection of family memories was one I will treasure, as it was only a month ago.
May God keep you close, as you deserve my friend!! And for the family, my prayers and tears are going out as I write this. Be proud!! What a wonderful, wonderful human being!!!!!!!

Dr Hill was a man I'll never forget.. He was one of the first OB Drs. I worked with a BJSP, immediately after nursing school.. I remember his kind heart and smiling face, a gentle soul... I remember talking to him about being a DO, just like my dad, who practiced medicine for 40 years in St Peters.. I don't think I've ever met or worked with a kinder, loving and generous physician since that time. I've been a nurse now for 20 years..he was a blessing to sooo many❤❤

The world will miss Joe. He was a good man, dad and doctor. I first met Joe when my son and his were in Cub Scouts together. He was also the doctor to my children's mother.
I grieve with the family and friends of Joe Hill. May he have everlasting life at the right hand of the Father.
