I was very sad to hear of Julie's passing. I grew up with her at Henry Hough and remember sleepovers and hanging out in the Froesel's basement (with Mary Lou Lederle as well). I was fortunate to see Julie a few years ago walking by my sister's house on Orchard Lane. May you all find peace during this difficult time.

My heart goes out to the Drake and Froesel families as I hear of Julie's passing. I will always remember the Froesel family with affection, having grown up with the girls at Glendale Lutheran Church. Then, years later, our families unexpectedly met again one Easter Sunday at a Lutheran church on Honolulu! What a wonderful memory.

We are heartbroken for your loss. I always admired Julie's deep love of her family, her friends and her ability to calmly handle everything thrown at her. She made your house a welcoming place for so many kids! Every person who knew her is a better person for it. Baldy, you two had a rare kind of love that will live on.
