We received word about Kathy the other day by snail-mail from Herb Boerner. Kathy was 1st cousin to my dad (Thomas C. Crews). Mary (Boerner) Crews was Dad's mom and Uncle Ott's sister. I am taking care of my mom (Mildred) at my house in Illinois. When I told Mom that Kathy had passed, she reminded me that Kathy was the flower-girl in her wedding. I didn't see any pictures in the guest book of Kathy from an age that I recognize. We don't have any adult pics, but I thought I would add a few of her as a child. We see these old pics go by every few days on a laptop I set up for Mom on the kitchen table. Kathy was also in Shirley (Crews) Gundelfinger's wedding the year after Mom and Dad were married (color pic). I'm only allowed one pic so I merged them.

Kathy grew up living next door to my parents in St. Louis, MO, so I've known her my whole life. I always thought Kathy was the sweetest girl ever. She was part of my family. She went to school and hung out with my brother Dave. We all loved her. After she and David married and moved to Iowa, we lost touch with her. I am so sad to hear of her passing. The world has lost a beautiful lady, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. May God provide peace and comfort to her children, family members, and friends. RIP sweet Kathy. We will see each other again some day.

What a great lady. I always loved visiting with Dave and Kathy, usually before Dave and I had our golf outing. We'll all miss her.
