Kenneth Edgar Obituary

Kenneth W. Edgar, Jr. passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, September 28th, 2025. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, on June 30th, 1941, to Kenneth W. Edgar, Sr. and Dorothy (nee Scanlon) Edgar.

Kenny was an avid Saint Louis Cardinals fan. He loved working with his cars, enjoyed his grandchildren's sports and activities, and never turned down cookies. He was a proud 66-year member of IBEW Local One and found joy in his work as an electrician.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Rose M. (nee Mugavero) Edgar, and his four children: Ronald (Debra) Edgar, Kenneth (Jennifer) Edgar III, Tina (Kevin) Layton, and Gina (Brian) Walsh. He was a beloved grandfather to Katelyn Edgar, Brandon (Natalie) Edgar, Emily Edgar, Kenneth Edgar IV, Alexander Edgar, Carson Layton, John William Layton, Maya Walsh, Max Walsh, Kaylee McCracken, Courtney McCracken, and his newest addition, great-granddaughter Julia Edgar.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Kenny at the IBEW Local One Union Hall (5850 Elizabeth Ave, Saint Louis, Missouri 63110) on Sunday, November 9th, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Donations may be made in Kenny's name to The Parkinson's Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
